
Our Dads at War
This is one of the first pieces I did with photos of my close family. When my dad died we found out he had been awarded the bronze star.
We have never found out why, but I suspect it had something to do with the fact that he was building hospitals in the New Guinea
jungles and the Japanese were trying to eliminate the hospitals. This one was juried into Quilt National. Holy cow!!
